Blade & Tool Sharpening

Vern from Sharp and Sharper, mobile blade and tool sharpening service, will be set up at Patio Gardens on:


Saturday April 18th from 10am - 3pm


Drop by the nursery with your loppers, shears, secateurs or other blades and pruners for a professional sharpen to start off your season. He can sharpen them for you while you wait. Just enjoy a coffee and wander the plants.

Resilient Gardening & FireSmart

April 19th, 12:00pm to 3:30pm

Having a wildfire-resilient garden is becoming increasingly important for homeowners. This practical, engaging workshop helps residents understand wildfire behaviour, identify vulnerable areas in their yards, and take proactive steps to create a more wildfire-resilient landscape. Participants will learn how to make informed choices about plants, mulches, groundcovers, and ongoing maintenance, as well as how to adapt to changing climate conditions and protect their homes without giving up a beautiful garden.
