In the bonsai workshop everyone goes home with a Boxwood bonsai and the skills to make more. Learn the nuance and technical details required to bring beauty and meditation to your life. Learn how to discriminate between high and low quality plant material and how to plan the development of the tree to take advantage of time and new growth.
Take a 2 gallon boxwood and make it into a bonsai in this intermediary class. All skill levels welcome, but this class has more maneuvers (with this larger plant specimen) than our previous Intro to Bonsai workshop.
Mark Paterson has been doing bonsai since 2001. Mark is a full time bonsai artist, has been president of the local bonsai club and previously owned a brick and motor bonsai nursery. Mark has been teaching bonsai since 2004. He believes bonsai is a meditative practice and loves to share it with everyone.
